Effective date: 1 October 2026
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains what personal data the YouTec Messenger app and its web version (the “App”) collect, why, on what basis, who processes it on our behalf, and how you can exercise your rights. The data controller is YouTec Messenger LLC (the “Company”, “we”).
By using the App, you confirm that you have read this Policy.
Controller: YouTec Messenger LLC, a company registered in the State of Wyoming, USA (registration no. 2026-002027509). Contact for privacy and data requests: support@youtec.app (you may also write to privacy@youtec.app). The App is available worldwide, with no regional restriction. We aim to apply data-protection standards at the level of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to all users, wherever they live.
2.1. The App is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the App. When signing in, you confirm that you are 18 or older. There are no child or teen accounts.
2.2. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn that a user is under 18, we delete that account and its data.

What other users see. Your profile is public, but it does not contain your personal contact data: we do not show your phone number, email address, address, or exact location to other users.
3.2.1. The App reads your device’s contact list only with your permission. Before the system permission request, the App shows its own screen explaining why access is needed. You can refuse, and you can revoke access later in your device settings.
3.2.2. Phone numbers from your contact list are sent to our server only to check which of your contacts already use YouTec. The server does not store these numbers and does not share them with anyone.
3.2.3. The App does not add, change, or delete anything in your contact list.
3.3.1. Private and group messages are protected by end-to-end encryption (libsodium, X25519). Only the participants of a chat can read its messages. We cannot read them.
3.3.2. Photos, videos, voice messages, and files sent in chats are also encrypted on your device before they are sent.
3.3.3. You can send one-time voice and video messages; they are erased after they are played.
3.3.4. Our server stores only the encrypted messages and the service data needed to deliver them: who sent a message, to whom, when, and whether it has been read.
We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics, and the App does not send crash reports to our server.
Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on the following legal bases:
We use data to: create and secure your account; show your profile, posts, and requests to other users; show you nearby posts and people; help you find people you know; deliver messages and notifications; run comments, likes, reposts, reviews, reports, and blocks; provide the AI help features you choose to use; answer support requests; keep the service safe and investigate violations; and comply with the law.
There is no advertising in the App. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.
Camera and microphone are used only when you take an action: taking a photo or video, recording a video circle, or recording a voice message.
6.1. With your permission, the App uses your approximate or precise location only while the App is open. The App does not use your location in the background.
6.2. We use location to show posts and people near you and to calculate the distance between you and them.
6.3. Other users never see your exact location. They see only an approximate distance (for example, “2 km away”).
6.4. You may choose to add an address to a request (task) you publish; that address is part of the request.
6.5. If you do not allow location access, the App still works, but features that depend on location may be limited.
7.1. The App offers optional AI help buttons (marked ✦): “Improve text” for a post, “Skills” for your profile, and suggestions for the topic of a post or a profession.
7.2. When you press such a button, the text you entered is sent to Google (Vertex AI / Gemini) only to produce the answer. It is not used to train AI models.
7.3. You see the result before anything is published and can return to your own text.
We use the following providers. They process data on our behalf and on our instructions, only to run the App; this is not a sale or transfer of data to third parties for their own purposes.
| Provider | Role |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Servers, file storage, video, network protection |
| Neon | PostgreSQL database, located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany) |
| Vertex AI (AI help features) and Google sign-in | |
| Expo and Firebase (Firebase Cloud Messaging) | Push-notification delivery |
| Resend | Sending emails with sign-in codes |
We have no advertising partners, do not sell personal data, and do not share it with third parties for their marketing. We may disclose data to competent authorities only where the law requires it. Because messages are end-to-end encrypted, we cannot disclose their content.
The Company is based in the USA, and the App is used worldwide. Our main database is in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Some of our providers (see §8) may process data in other countries, including the USA, so your data may be processed outside your country of residence. Where the law requires safeguards for such transfers (for example, for data from the EU/EEA or the UK), we rely on the mechanisms provided by these providers’ data-processing terms, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us about these safeguards at support@youtec.app.
10.1. We keep personal data while your account exists and no longer than needed for the purposes in this Policy. We do not delete accounts for inactivity: an account is deleted only when you decide to delete it (or in the cases described in §2.2 and in the EULA).
10.2. Account deletion. You can delete your account in the App (menu ☰ → Settings → Privacy → Delete profile, confirmed with a code sent to your email) or by writing to support@youtec.app. Once you confirm, your profile is immediately hidden from everyone and all sign-ins are closed. After 30 (thirty) days the account is permanently erased together with your profile, email, phone number, photos and videos, posts, messages, attachments, friends, and settings. Signing in again within those 30 days cancels the deletion.
10.3. Reviews you have left for other people remain after your account is deleted, but without your name and photo.
10.4. Contact-list numbers checked under §3.2 are not stored. Push tokens are deleted when you sign out on the device. One-time voice and video messages are erased after they are played.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Private and group messages and chat attachments are end-to-end encrypted (§3.3). One-time sign-in codes are stored only as a cryptographic hash. You can see the devices signed in to your account and remove any of them under “Devices”. Signing in to the web version is possible only by scanning a QR code and approving it on your phone. Access to personal data within the Company is limited to what is needed to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures.
You have the right to:
To exercise these rights, including to request a data export, write to support@youtec.app. We will respond within the time set by applicable law and may ask you to confirm your identity to protect your account.
Automated processing and moderation. The feed is ordered automatically, for example by distance and topic. Reports about people, posts, and groups are reviewed by a person, who may hide a post or block an account. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you solely by automated means.
The App does not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers. Our website and web version use only cookies and similar storage that are strictly necessary for them to work (for example, keeping you signed in). We do not use advertising cookies.
We may update this Policy. We will notify you of material changes in the App or by email. The current version is always available at a public link. Continued use of the App after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
Questions about your personal data and requests to exercise your rights: support@youtec.app (or privacy@youtec.app). Controller: YouTec Messenger LLC, Wyoming, USA.
Revision 1 October 2026.
Effective date: 1 October 2026
This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a binding contract between you (“User”, “you”) and YouTec Messenger LLC (“Company”, “we”, “us”) regarding the mobile application YouTec Messenger, its web version, and related services (the “App”).
By downloading, installing, registering for, or using the App, you confirm that you have read and accept this Agreement, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Rules, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The App is operated by YouTec Messenger LLC (contact: support@youtec.app), a company registered in the State of Wyoming, USA (registration no. 2026-002027509). The App is available worldwide. The Company aims to apply data-protection and consumer standards at the level of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) worldwide, and your mandatory local rights always apply. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without prejudice to your mandatory local consumer rights (see §17).
3.1. The App is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to register or use the App. When signing in, you confirm that you are 18 or older. There are no child or teen accounts.
3.2. By using the App you represent that you are at least 18, have the legal capacity to accept this Agreement, and that your use of the App and your User Content comply with the law of the country where you are located. You are responsible for knowing and complying with your local law. If we learn that a user is under 18, we delete the account.
4.1. Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, the Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on a device you own or control and to access the service, including for your work or business through the features provided.
4.2. You may not: copy, modify, decompile, or reverse-engineer the App; rent, sublicense, or distribute it; circumvent technical restrictions, protections, or limits; use automated means (bots, scrapers) contrary to the service’s rules; or use the App to build a competing product.
5.1. Using the App requires an account. You sign in with your email (confirmed with a one-time code sent to it) or with a Google account. A phone number is required at registration. Signing in to the web version is possible only by scanning a QR code and approving it on your phone.
5.2. You agree to provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and keep access to your email and devices secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can see and remove the devices signed in to your account under “Devices”.
5.3. The Company may take measures against abuse, including multiple or fake accounts, to protect the service.
5.4. You must notify the Company promptly of any unauthorized access to your account.
6.1. Use of the App is governed by the Community Rules, which form an integral part of this Agreement.
6.2. You must not use the App for unlawful activity, prohibited content, fraud, deception, harassment, spam, infringement of third-party rights, or any conduct that violates the Community Rules or applicable law.
7.1. You retain all rights to your User Content. The Company claims no ownership of it.
7.2. By posting User Content, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, technically adapt, and make your User Content available to other users — solely as needed to operate the App and provide the service to you (for example, showing your profile, posts, and requests to others, and delivering messages). This license ends when you delete the content or your account is erased, except: (a) where retention is required by law; and (b) reviews you have left for others, which remain without your name and photo (see §10).
7.3. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to post your User Content and that it does not infringe third-party rights or applicable law.
7.4. The Company may, but is not obliged to, review, moderate, restrict, or remove public content that violates this Agreement, the Community Rules, or the law.
7.5. Posts and requests — your responsibility. You are solely responsible for every post, request, and other User Content you publish, including ensuring that it is lawful under the laws of your own country and of any place where it may be seen. You must not publish anything prohibited by applicable law. The Company does not pre-verify posts and requests and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, bears no responsibility for User Content published by users; responsibility lies with the User who published it.
7.6. Private communications. Private and group messages are end-to-end encrypted, and only chat participants can read them; the Company cannot read their content. You are solely responsible for your own communications and for your conduct toward other users.
8.1. The App offers optional AI help features (marked ✦), such as improving the text of a post, suggesting skills for your profile, and suggesting the topic of a post or a profession. The text you enter is processed by a third-party AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy.
8.2. AI output is provided “as is.” The Company does not warrant its accuracy, originality, or fitness for a particular purpose. You see the result before publishing, can return to your own text, and are responsible for what you publish.
8.3. You must not use AI Features to create misleading, unlawful, or infringing content.
9.1. The App currently has no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or other payments. The App is free to use.
9.2. If the Company introduces paid features in the future, their terms and prices will be shown in the App before you pay, and this Agreement will be updated in accordance with §16.
10.1. The App lets users leave reviews about other people (a star rating and text). Reviews must reflect a real interaction and follow the Community Rules. A review that breaks the Rules can be reported.
10.2. Reviews you have left for others remain after your account is deleted, without your name and photo, to keep the reputation system fair for other users.
The App, its code, design, trademarks, logos, and other elements (other than User Content) belong to the Company or its licensors and are protected by law. This Agreement grants you no rights in them other than the license to use the App expressly granted here.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted or error-free operation, security, or meeting your expectations. You use the App at your own risk. This section applies to the maximum extent permitted by law and does not limit warranties that cannot be excluded.
13.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits, loss of data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
13.2. The Company is not a party to deals or agreements between users and is not responsible for the acts, goods, services, content, or solvency of other users. You deal with other users at your own risk.
13.3. Because the App is provided free of charge, the Company’s aggregate liability on any basis is limited to the equivalent of EUR 100, unless a mandatory legal provision requires otherwise.
13.4. Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (for example, for wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury).
13.5. Role of the Company. The Company only provides a platform that enables users to publish posts and requests, find one another, and communicate. The Company is not a party to, and accepts no responsibility for, users’ actions, communications, deals, agreements, or relationships. Each user is solely responsible for their own conduct.
You agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from and against any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, fines, penalties, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the App, your communications or dealings with other users, or your breach of this Agreement, the Community Rules, third-party rights, or applicable law, to the extent permitted by law.
15.1. The Company may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach this Agreement, the Community Rules, or the law, if there is a threat to the security of the service or other users, or if we learn that you are under 18.
15.2. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time in the App (menu ☰ → Settings → Privacy → Delete profile) or by writing to support@youtec.app. How and when data is erased is described in the Privacy Policy.
15.3. Termination does not affect provisions that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimer of warranties, limitation of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution).
16.1. The Company may develop, modify, or discontinue features of the App.
16.2. The Company may amend this Agreement. Users will be notified of material changes via the App or by email a reasonable time before they take effect. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the App and delete your account.
17.1. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. Irrespective of the chosen governing law, the mandatory consumer- and data-protection rights available to you under the law of your place of residence always apply and are not overridden.
17.2. Disputes are to be resolved by the competent courts of the operator’s place of establishment, unless mandatory rules protecting you as a consumer at your place of residence provide otherwise.
18.1. This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy and Community Rules, constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the App.
18.2. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
18.3. The Company’s failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it.
18.4. You may not assign your rights under this Agreement without the Company’s consent; the Company may assign its rights to a successor.
18.5. The Company is not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control (force majeure).
18.6. The English version is authoritative; translations are provided for convenience, and the English text prevails in case of conflict, unless local law requires otherwise.
18.7. Contact: questions about this Agreement — support@youtec.app.
These additional terms apply only when you download or use the App from the Apple App Store, and they supplement the Agreement. In case of conflict, this Annex prevails for App Store installations.
A.1. Acknowledgement. This Agreement is concluded between you and YouTec Messenger LLC only, and not with Apple Inc. (“Apple”). YouTec Messenger LLC, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content. This Agreement does not provide usage rules for the App that conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
A.2. Scope of license. The license granted to you is a non-transferable license to use the App on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the App may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
A.3. Maintenance and support. YouTec Messenger LLC is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the App, as specified in this Agreement or required by law. You and YouTec Messenger LLC acknowledge that Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance and support services for the App.
A.4. Warranty. YouTec Messenger LLC is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) of the App to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to a warranty are YouTec Messenger LLC’s sole responsibility.
A.5. Product claims. YouTec Messenger LLC, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App or your possession and use of it, including (i) product-liability claims; (ii) any claim that the App fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims under consumer-protection, privacy, or similar laws. This Agreement does not limit YouTec Messenger LLC’s liability to you beyond what applicable law permits.
A.6. Intellectual property. If a third party claims that the App or your possession and use of it infringes that party’s intellectual-property rights, YouTec Messenger LLC, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
A.7. Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist-supporting” country, and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
A.8. Developer contact. Questions, complaints, or claims about the App should be directed to YouTec Messenger LLC by email at support@youtec.app. The Company’s postal address and telephone number for Apple App Store purposes are provided in the App Store listing and will be added here before any release of the App on the Apple App Store.
A.9. Third-party terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the App (for example, your wireless data-service agreement).
A.10. Third-party beneficiary. You and YouTec Messenger LLC acknowledge and agree that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement, and that upon your acceptance of this Agreement, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this Agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary.
Revision 1 October 2026.
Effective date: 1 October 2026
These Community Rules (“Rules”) set out how you may use YouTec Messenger (the “App”). They are binding on all users. Breaking them may lead to removal of content, restriction of features, or blocking of your account. By using the App you agree to follow these Rules and applicable law.
1.1. YouTec is a hyperlocal business messenger: private and group chats, a feed of posts and requests from people nearby, people discovery, public profiles, and reviews.
1.2. These Rules exist to keep the community safe, honest, and respectful. We ask everyone to act in good faith, treat others fairly, and keep interactions and deals lawful.
1.3. The Company may act on violations at its reasonable discretion (see §10) and may remove content or accounts that break these Rules or the law, or that create a risk to other users.
2.1. These Rules apply to every user and to all content: profiles, posts and requests, comments, messages, and reviews.
2.2. The App is for adults only: you must be at least 18 years old (see the EULA §3). Accounts of users under 18 are deleted.
2.3. You are responsible for making sure that what you publish complies with the law of your country, including any age-restriction rules. Content prohibited under §3 and §4 is never allowed.
You must not use the App to create, post, share, or facilitate any of the following.
3.1. Illegal goods and activity - Drugs, controlled substances, and related paraphernalia; weapons, ammunition, and explosives where prohibited; stolen, counterfeit, or smuggled goods; endangered species and protected wildlife products; human trafficking or exploitation; or any goods, services, or activity prohibited by law in your country or the country where the service operates.
3.2. Child safety - Any content that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors is strictly forbidden. See §4.
3.3. Violence, hate, and extremism - Threats, incitement to violence, terrorism or extremism, or hatred or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
3.4. Fraud, scams, and abuse - Deception, fraud, phishing, pyramid or “get-rich-quick” schemes, extortion, coercion, blackmail, or threats; - Advance-fee scams or fake payment confirmations; - Impersonating another person, business, or the service itself.
3.5. Account and reputation integrity - Creating fake, duplicate, or bot accounts, or evading a block; - Manipulating ratings or reviews (buying, exchanging, or posting fake reviews; pressuring someone to remove a review; retaliatory reviews).
3.6. Spam and misuse - Unsolicited mass messaging, repetitive or duplicated posts and requests, misleading topics, or any automated misuse (bots, scrapers) contrary to these Rules.
3.7. Harassment and privacy - Insults, bullying, stalking, sexual harassment, or intimidation of other users; - Posting other people’s personal data (phone numbers, addresses, photos, documents) without their consent (“doxxing”).
3.8. Intellectual property - Infringing copyrights, trademarks, or other rights of third parties in posts, requests, texts, images, or media.
3.9. Security - Malware, malicious links, attempts to gain unauthorized access, or interference with the App’s operation or security.
4.1. YouTec has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Any content or conduct that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children — including child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexualization of minors, or attempts to contact minors for sexual purposes — is strictly prohibited.
4.2. Accounts involved in CSAE are blocked, the content is removed, and we report it to the competent authorities.
4.3. If you encounter such content or conduct, report it in the App or write to support@youtec.app.
5.1. Posts and requests must be accurate and honest: describe the real item, service, or need truthfully.
5.2. Posts and requests must match their topic and must not contain prohibited content (§3, §4).
5.3. Do not publish the same post or request repeatedly, and do not use misleading titles, topics, or images to attract attention.
5.4. A price, if you show one, must be the genuine price; hidden fees or bait pricing are not allowed.
5.5. Add an address to a request only if it is needed for the task, and never publish someone else’s address without their consent.
5.6. Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for the legality of every post and request you publish under the laws of your own country. The Company does not pre-verify posts and requests and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, is not responsible for content published by users — responsibility lies with the publishing user.
6.1. Conversations must comply with these Rules. Messages are end-to-end encrypted, and the Company cannot read them; you can report or block a person or a group directly in the App.
6.2. Do not send unsolicited bulk messages, scams, or harassing content.
6.3. Safety for in-person meetings. YouTec is hyperlocal and may lead to real-world meetings. For your safety: meet in public places, be cautious with advance payments, check goods before paying, and do not share sensitive personal or financial information. The Company is not a party to deals between users (see EULA §13) and cannot guarantee the conduct of other users.
7.1. Reviews must reflect a real interaction and be honest and relevant. They must not contain insults, defamation, private data, or prohibited content.
7.2. Do not manipulate reviews or ratings (see §3.5). A review that breaks these Rules can be reported.
8.1. AI help features (✦ “Improve text”, “Skills”, topic suggestions) must not be used to create misleading, deceptive, unlawful, or infringing content, or to impersonate real people.
8.2. You are responsible for reviewing AI suggestions before publishing them and for everything you publish (see EULA §8).
9.1. If you see content or conduct that breaks these Rules, report the person, post, or group in the App, or write to support@youtec.app. You can also block a person so that they can no longer contact you.
9.2. Do not abuse the reporting tools (mass or false reports); abuse may itself lead to action on your account.
10.1. Reports are reviewed by a person. Depending on the severity and history of a violation, the Company may hide or remove the content, restrict features, or block the account temporarily or permanently.
10.2. Serious violations (for example child safety, fraud, or threats to others’ safety) may lead to immediate permanent blocking without a prior warning and, where required, reporting to the competent authorities.
10.3. Enforcement is applied as consistently as reasonably possible, but the absence of action in one case does not waive the Company’s right to act in another.
If you believe a decision about your content or account was made in error, you may appeal by writing to support@youtec.app. We will review appeals in good faith and within a reasonable time.
The Company may update these Rules. We will notify users of material changes via the App or by email. Continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Rules.
Questions about these Rules, reports, or appeals: support@youtec.app.
